Pat Donaldson-ReidWhen we moved to Carleton Place in 1982, I started playing broomball for Cavanagh. Most Thursday nights after our game, several gals would go to “the Bridge” for a drink and listen to some great local talent. Johnny, the bartender would deliver my jug of water and a rye and coke. Lots of good times there.
