Regina Public Library Needs Our Help– James McFarlane Fergusson

Warren James from the Prairie History Room, Regina Public Library has a patron who is looking for information on a James McFarlane Fergusson who was living in Renfrew Co. and who apparently was ambushed and killed during the early 1890s. They can find no record of such an event;  and wonder if we might have any information that might help them?

Can we all put our thinking caps on and see if we can help the Regina Public Library?

Seems those Fergusson’s were a wild bunch if you remember the story below:
