This morning I posted the above photo of Horace Garner Stark and Ray Paquette said: “While he survived the sinking of HMCS FRASER, I believe that OS Stark was lost when a ship he later served on was lost.”

Barely three months later after surviving the first war ship—in October 1940 Horace Garner “Sparky” Stark perished. He was a telegrapher on the  H.M.C.S Margaree. His father was CPHS teacher James Stark. May he rest in peace.
