This great little ‘slicker gal’ made by a clever family on Mississippi Road in Carleton Place was a great tribute to the royal family in my mind. “Rule Britannia!”

I woke up this morning and the sun was shining. I knew next week at this time I would have been up for hours watching Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding and preparing for the Royal Teas of the day in Lanark County. Is this woman a nut you ask? Of course she is! You haven’t figured that out already?:)
It was only a matter of time. W and Lifetime have promised me wedding movies this week and they had better deliver. Lifetime has adapted Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s romance into a made-for-TV movie called Harry & Meghan: The Royal Love Story and it is on Sunday night. That’s Channel 83 in the local Rogers viewing area. Last night I watched a documentary, and it was no labour of love, so hopefully Sunday’s nights movie might be a tad better.
Unfortunately for Steve he has chosen to take the week off to work on the yard and he will have to put up with all my craziness. I can predict he will be thankful to go back to work next week. I have already advised him we will have to catch up on a “Handmaiden’s Tale” and “Naked and Afraid” on In Demand this week! (I just told him he is mentioned in the blog and he asked if it was simply a ‘pity mention’. LOL)
I already have my ticket for the Royal Wedding Tea done by Crossroads Tearoom for next Saturday afternoon, but now I hear there is one in Almonte put on by The Hub. That begins at 6 am in the morning. Can I do both and document them? I am going to try! I am not getting any younger and I think this royal affair is the last for this gal!
6 am you say in Almonte? 3 Pm in Perth! Can I do it? Stay tuned?
