Missy Moo’s Magical Hand Cream – Carleton Place Farmer’s Market

If you have not met Missy, you can check out the blog I did on on her called: Showering With Missy. Each time I bump into Missy she reminds me of Catherine Landry’s younger sister. Not that they look alike, she just acts like Catherine, and creates all sorts of great stuff. You have probably seen her around the local craft shows, and she is always at the Carleton Place Farmer’s Market. She has all sorts of goodies you will never find anywhere, and it is all handmade with natural ingredients by Missy. This woman even meditates over her soap when she makes it. You need to see her stuff to believe it.

So a few weeks ago she was looking for guinea pigs for her new hand cream. Seeing mine look like something out of the movie Hocus Pocus I made sure I was there at the Carleton Place Farmer’s Market nice and early. She told me her hand was made from unrefined organic shea butter from a co-op in Gahana that provides fair trade jobs for women. It’s made with love, and organic coconut oil– very nourishing and hydrating simple and effective.

So after a two week challenge it made a lot of difference in my hands. Not that I will ever be a hand model, but I will no longer qualify to be a horror film extra. It smells so good– just make sure you don’t eat it. It is that delicious, and it’s not going to cost you a week’s salary either. Everything Melissa has is so affordable, and made with love. I no longer have to keep my hands in my pocket in embarrassment.
