Regrets Are What You Have Before You Get Eaten!

Standard

Eggs are a symbol of fertility, perhaps the most obvious, with second place going to the prolific rabbit. There. Connection made. But what about the chocolate ones? There is nothing very fertile about them when they get eaten. Do we get more fertile after we eat one?

In what household is there such a thing as “leftover candy?” Candy isn’t especially perishable, candy is not like hard-boiled Easter eggs.

It is not “leftover,” it is still candy. It doesn’t need to be “recycled.” It just needs to be properly stored and eaten in moderation until it runs out. Right.. say that five times with Cadbury Mini Eggs in your mouth! Yes, I am going to have regrets after this!

Here’s a tip. Don’t eat the brown jelly beans they are not chocolate.

I once ate two pounds of jelly beans for a charity dare. I promptly threw up a rainbow. I had regrets!

I don’t know if I could put away 33.3 Cadbury eggs in one sitting, but I’d like to try.

Leave me alone, let me eat my candy in peace..No regrets!

Peeps have no fat content — but five of the little guys have 34 grams of sugar — 20 minutes of moderate exercise will burn those calories off! Look at the regrets this wee chap has!

Like roasted marshmallows? Yes, you do!

Then try roasted peeps – it’s like Creme Brulee on a stick! Amazing!

Peeps Smores –Sally’s Baking Addiction

Ingredients:

  • Graham cracker sheets
  • Chocolate chips (or use a Hershey’s bar)
  • Peeps

Directions:

Break graham cracker sheet in half. Set one half aside.

Sprinkle other half with chocolate chips (or a couple small pieces of a Hershey’s bar).  Top the chocolate with a peep.

Microwave for about 20 seconds (the peep will begin to puff up). Remove from microwave and top with the reserved graham cracker half.  Squish down.  Enjoy!
