Close Ups of Greg McDonald of Carleton Place

Standard

This summer I wrote a small story about our fearless Carleton Place Constable George McDonald and how he rescued a case of beer from the mighty Mississippi. A few weeks ago at the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum

These are pictures Constable Greg McDonald  (not related) who ran the VIP program at the local schools back in the 80s.

All Photos from the Carleton Place Canadian file from the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum

historicalnotes

Greg McDonald is one of the nicest people I have ever met . I have been a civilian employee of the OPP for over 12 years and Greg was always professional, kind and soft spoken yet one of the most effective officers I have worked with. Sad to see him retire but the respect felt for him was shown at the large crowd that showed up at his retirement party, which included other officers singing a musical tribute to him. —Karen Chenier
