William Duncan of Appleton

Mr. Wm. Duncan of Appleton, lost a valuable horse on Friday last when it was stricken with paralysis. Mr. Duncan had driven to Almonte with a lead of grist and the horse became suddenly ill on it’s arrival here. It is reported that Mr. Duncan refused $180 for the animal a short time ago.
