The Lanark County Historical Mapping Project
Barry inspired and led a team of volunteers to create a Historical Mapping Project; telling the story of the settling of the Perth Military Settlement consisting of the original townships of Bathurst, Drummond, Beckwith and the Town of Perth.

Employing digital mapping technology and resurrecting original maps of the original survey of 1815, the project shows the settlement of the soldiers and settlers by individual lot, concession, names of the original and subsequent families and land owners, and telling their stories for a lasting on-line legacy on the history of the current municipalities.

Internet service not provided for this event. If you have means to connect to your service provider you may wish to bring your laptop as Barrie will show how you can access this information on your computer.

Refreshments will be served.
