The Booth family
I am not going to post this everywhere as I respect people and their privacy– but I need to write about this to get it out of my system. This morning I was looking for something particular and a photo of a very old house popped up from the 1890s.
This photo should have not come up in my search as the Canadian based photo was from someone’s obscure dated genealogy page in the United States. I posted the local home knowing there were many on that particular Quebec Facebook page that would be interested. Throughout the day various folks posted where they thought it might be located and finally someone suggested I tag an old classmate of mine for information.
Just an hour ago he posted that it was indeed his mother’s home and she had passed away last night. I am no psychic or have any special telepathy talents, but various times through my life events have happened, and those who have departed us have passed messages through me.
From experience I know that signs from beyond can come in a variety of ways, and the key is keep your eye open for anything out of the ordinary. Like posting this childhood home that my former classmate lived in. Why would I do that- I had no idea.
I emailed him later and told him he could argue with me but I do believe it was a sign from his Mum. He agreed. Like I always say if you want to understand today, you have to always look at yesterday.
Come and visit the Lanark County Genealogical Society Facebook page– what’s there? Cool old photos–and lots of things interesting to read.
