What was this all about? It was found in thhe Carleton Place Canadian files in the 70s, by the looks of it.  Found at the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum

Jayne Munro-Ouimet— Must be a parade of some sort. I am not very old in this picture LOL yes Linda, I am in the crowd. Almonte once had lots of parades. High School Football parades were well attended by all. Public Schools were always attending a game and if the Thunderbolts or the Junior Thunderbolts were in the play-offs we always had the time off… Now that is what I call community partnership and spirit.

Mary Anne Harrison– This was taken during one of Almontes Old Home Weeks. People were gathered to see either a parade or a race of some sort.
