No one among the businessmen of Lanark has built up a more honorable reputation or conducted business on a more equitable basis than Mr.John A. Darou whose well ordered establishment is located on George Street and which is equipped with all necessary machinery for carrying on the business.

 

It has been carried on by him for the past four years and he has since enjoyed a liberal and substantial patronage. The stock embraces a fine assortment of choice homemade bread, biscuits, cakes, pastry, fine confectionary, groceries and provisions. Wedding cakes are a specialty and the lowest price prevail at all times. While the trade is brisk it still is of a frist class character. Several nakers are employed and one wagon is in service for home delivery.

 

Mr. Darou has had many years experience in this business and he is a gentleman of pronounced ability. He is ever ready to attend to all the demands made upon him in this special line of trade.
