Sometimes you find the greatest things at the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Museum. These photos were once from the Carleton Place Canadian and are now stored at the Museum. Doris has a birthday coming up soon. Happy Birthday Doris!

So who was this man?

Valerie Edwards and Karen Blackburn Chenier said:

Could be Dick Shail.
The first man with guitar and glasses is my Uncle Mike Papworth, the second man on guitar is Jim Lowe, deceased now, who was a member of the CP Police Dept. Will ask my Dad who the fiddler/dancer is.
The final answer is:
Karen Blackburn Chenier–So the dancing fiddler is indeed Dick Shail according to my Dad. Dad says Dick lived out on the 9th line and used to have an open door policy to bring your instruments and have a jam session, and maybe a drink or two!
