The Ghost Lights in St. James Cemetery

Last time I was at St. James Cemetery I saw white eyes or small white lights in the woods that edge the area.  I wondered if the spirits were malevolent, and felt a great weight on my shoulders for the last 20 minutes I was there. I continually felt drawn to the Crozier children’s tombstones- but that has happened each time I have been there.

Since I began to do research on stories for the St. James Cemetery Walk I assumed the children might be different, maybe a little bit of an outcast in society, like me. Maybe they just wanted someone to remember them. There is no doubt in my mind the lights in the woods were definitely little light orbs and I assume they were are the Crozier children. They were definitely loving light orbs. If you would like to now more about them please attend the Carleton Place and Beckwith Heritage Cemetery Walk.
