If You Ever Smoked in the Boys Room—– Straight Outta Carleton Place High School

If you ever did anything bad in school don’t think the staff forgot. Even if it was in the 80s. On election day at my polling station a man came up to me laughing. He said no matter how old he was, he can never run away from being nothing but trouble at Carleton Place High School. It seems a former high ranking staff at CPHS remembered the man’s days of smoking in the boys room and raising a ruckus. Everywhere this man went the former staff, who was on duty at the poll, was trailing him. He wanted to make sure he did not cause trouble– even though he had not seen him in 25 years.

I kept waiting for the 40 something voter to turn around and say to the former chief of staff, “It wasn’t me Sir!”

Oh to the glory days of High School!
