Remember the Hospital Bed Races of Carleton Place?

The premise was fairly simple. Teams competed by pushing hospital beds – complete with a “patient” –  in a timed race down a street. Colorful team uniforms and wildly creative beds bedecked with themed decorations were all part of the fun. What happened to them?
