Keep calm and eat cheese! Not any cheese though.. Missie is selling fresh cheese every week at the Carleton Place Farmer’s Market. Not your oridinarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry packaged cheese– It’s made fresh! Look at these flavours!

Missy is using fresh products from John who sells all sorts of produce and chutneys etc next to her. You can’t get fresher than that!

Neat thing is you get the cheese in a cute little jar! Makes you want to grab a spoon and dig in!

You know that cheese is milk’s leap to immortality right? Well hop on down Saturday morning to the Carleton Place Farmer’s Market and buy some! Here is a recipe to inspire you! Love ya Missy-you;re the cheese to my macaroni!

Garlic Scape Feta Cheese– and you don’t have to buy garlic scapes and feta.. Missy has you covered!

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 450F

1) Saute blanched and dried garlic scapes in olive oil until glistening and slightly browned. Remove from heat

2) Spread olive oil and/or scape pesto over pizza crust. Sprinkle with feta cheese. Position garlic scapes on pizza, distributing evenly. Place cherry tomatoes on pizza. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.

3)Bake until pizza is browning, about 12-15 minutes.

4) Remove from oven, let stand 3-5 minutes before cutting.
