Where Can You Eat for $5 in Carleton Place on Victoria Day Weekend?

Standard

School children used to recite this poem (in the 1920’s, and on):

May 24 is the Queen’s birthday.
If we don’t get a holiday,
We’ll all run away!

Last night I did a review on the Spud Box and….ladies and gentlemen….

The chip trucks are open on Townline in Careton Place. Does this mean Spring or maybe Summer is really on the way? You have the Potato King near Mac’s, C & D Fries next to the Army Navy Club and tucked away beside the garage at 80 Townline is The Crazy Potato where this weekend it is a $5 for a  hot dog plate special. Thanks Jennifer Fenwick Irwin from the Museum for sharing lunch! It was carrots for dinner though, I swear.:)
