Cancer Always Calls Collect – Part 8 — I am as Serious as Cancer – Zoomers.

“Yesterday I read a short story written by Frank Stockton in 1882 that was mentioned on Susie Lindau’s blog called The Lady and the Tiger. It was a strange tale about a young man caught romancing the King’s daughter, and sent to the town’s arena to meet his punishment. He alone was the master of his fate choosing to open a door to either a hungry tiger or a beautiful woman. Stockton, the author, chose not to disclose the final results infuriating his literary followers and to this day readers wonder what the young man’s fate was.”
